About
Hi. I'm Eric, a creative professional.
I have worked as an art director and graphic designer for more than ten years.
I have handled a vast range of work including advertising art direction and copywriting; editorial layout; photo-shoot planning and direction; retail signage and point-of-purchase display design; logo design and identity branding, photo re-touching and color-correcting; web design and even a little HTML/CSS coding.
I have had the good fortune to with work with a range of great brands across a variety of industries including Luxottica, Coca-Cola, PADI, Subaru, Spin Master, MoonPie, Bush's Beans, Lenovo, Krystal Burger, Nike SB, Paddy’s Irish Whiskey, Can-Am/BRP, Drake's Cakes, DC Shoes, Warsteiner Beer and Salt Life to name a few.
In addition to my work as a designer and art director I have experience writing for print and web. My work has been featured in the Indianapolis Monthly, the IUPUI Sagamore and The Indianapoliser.
Always a work in progress, I continuously push myself in an effort to sharpen my creative skills. Recently I've taken copywriting courses through the San Diego Portfolio Studio and studied typography at TypeEd in Los Angeles.
I'm a media junkie and fan of aesthetics. I love design, typography and humor. I strive to achieve originality and creativity in all of my work. Even if the process drives me to the brink of insanity at times, nothing tops the gratification of a finished project (on deadline)!
I studied Graphic Design at Indiana University, Bloomington before transferring to Indiana University, Indianapolis (IUPUI) where I received my BA in Journalism, with a few lost years in between, spent bartending, beach-bumming and generally having a good time in Southern California.
When not slaving over my iMac I can be found running, bicycling, surfing, listening to NPR, home-brewing or complaining about the Chicago Cubs.
Please feel free to E-Mail me.
